The squad

Bath’s girls put in another strong performance, and although always going to be chasing games due to the number of “green” players in the squad, the improvement from game to game is impressive.

Emily Defends

When faced with opposition of equal ability, Bath came out well beating Exeter 6:1, and against the bigger teams the difference to the start of the season is startling, the opposition now must work hard at scoring, Bath’s defence isn’t an easy gaol fest, it is tight and mobile, with good discipline.

Had Plymouth not had a male keeper, that game might have been very different, and at one stage Bath were up 1:0 against Bristol.

Beating Exeter and Plymouth’s forfeit due to the keeper meant a respectable 5th place spot, and the girls are accumulating league points all the time.
