Stick It is a success!

The Stick It Lacrosse training programme for boys and girls aged 7-16 came to a close this month. The successful 6 week-long event saw 10 boys and girls from Bath and Chippenham learning the basic skills, taking part in team games and going away with their own new lacrosse sticks so that they can continue playing after the training session.

Hayesfield Girls School was an excellent venue for the Saturday morning training sessions and such was the success of the programme that Bath Lacrosse Club will look to run another session early in 2012. We will also be looking to run more competitions and matches with other youth teams in the South of England. In the meantime there is the usual training slot for juniors of 1730-1830 on Tuesdays during term time in the gymnasium at the Royal High School, Bath.
